The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Orange County residents regarding the residency of 47-year-old Pasquale Verrilli, who has reported an address change to an apartment on Grand Street in Newburgh.

The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Verrilli a Level 3 threat, which means he is a “high-risk repeat offender and possible threat to public safety.”

According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Verrilli had deviate sexual intercourse with a stranger who was incapable of consenting in June 2007 and he was convicted of raping a physically helpless female in December that year. Verrilli was sentenced to 12 years in state prison and is now under the jurisdiction of the Newburgh City Police Department.
